Necessity is the mother of invention and IMEC was, and continues to be, a pioneer in free cooling due to the requirements and experience of being based in cold New England. In a cooler climate, it’s more efficient and effective to let Mother Nature do the cooling for you (rather than running expensive chillers in an attempt to cool fluids to 50°— when its 30° outside!).
